Jones-Stafford Scholarship Fund
$1000
Laseanta Stafford and Tyronica Jones are both graduates of West Bolivar District High School and Mississippi State University. They have over 15 years of public service (civil and military), and know first hand the doors that education can open. Both Jones and Stafford firmly believe that a solid educational foundation is a passport to the future. As a result of their access to education, the pair have lived and worked in different countries and want other students to have the same opportunities. As first-generation college graduates Jones and Stafford want to remove some of the financial burdens associated with higher education and make the transition from high school into college a little easier for students. The Jones-Stafford Scholarship Fund will provide two individual recipients with a scholarship, paid directly to the education institution. The scholarship can be used for tuition and other educational related expenses such as books and lab fees.
